In Qontrol an installer is now able to see the actual consumption of an installation with a smart meter and a production device like solar panels or a kWh meter measuring solar panels. Furthermore, the onboarding process of the installer is made more smooth. He is guided through making an account and informed that we have to make a manual connection between his login and his company which can take up to 1 or 2 working days. Some bugs were resolved and we have added the version number to Qontrol and a link to this page on the Bliq site.
The main goal of this release was to be ready for batteries. In Qontrol the installer sees the battery power and solar production power seperatly, however, it is coming from one and the same inverter. Also the installer is guided better through to process of configuring the the kWh meter and the inverter. It is more clear what to do. Further more the setup process is now also working in Qontrol so the installer doesn’t need to go to the seperate setup page and use another login user. We did some improvments on the listview and we solved some bugs.
The main result of this release is that the installer is now able to configure the kWh meter. So he can convert the kWh meter to a smart meter, inverter, airco, heatpump or EV charger. The icon in Qontrol will chang automatically, but more important, this is also shown in the app of the consumer. This will become visible in app release 4.3.0 The installer is now also able to configure the inverter (inverter, only battery or battery and inverter). This is needed for two things: first to show the right icons and actual numbers in Qontrol and in the app (4.3.0), second to store the brand of the battery inverter and the capacity. This is needed to control the battery at a later moment. Further more we made some onboarding pages so the installer is better guided what he has to do after he has created an account.
In this release the most important new feature is that the installer is able to present his company with logo, name address etc to the user of the app. In app release 4.1.1 this will become visible in the app for users with a Bliq installer. Further more some small bugs have been solved and the process for supporting the smart meter users have been improved. We are now better capable to manage the relation between the consumer and the right data sources.
This was the first go live for installers. Earlier we used it our selves as a backoffice tool for the app. The installer could see his own installation in a list view and schematic view with the actual power at that moment. So he could see the Bliq-vanger, inverters, smart meters and kWh meters. In the dashboard is shown what the communication status is of all his installations. Are they are online of offline? Are there devices connected? Are we same datapoints missing (degraded).
